Arrive in Tanzania and transfer privately to a comfortable Arusha lodge. The day is intentionally gentle, with time to rest, settle in, and meet your guide for a family-friendly safari briefing.
Drive to Tarangire National Park for your first family game drive. The park’s elephants, baobabs, and open landscapes make it a rewarding introduction for children and adults alike.
Enjoy a flexible morning game drive or later start depending on the family’s energy. Continue toward Karatu, where gardens, views, and cooler highland air create a comfortable pause.
Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a focused wildlife day. The compact crater floor offers excellent chances for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and dramatic scenery without long-distance driving.
Travel into the Serengeti, with stops and game viewing shaped around family comfort. Settle into a lodge or tented camp chosen for warmth, safety, and location.
Spend the day following wildlife with your guide. The schedule can be adjusted with shorter drives, lodge downtime, or a longer exploration depending on the family’s pace.
Enjoy a final Serengeti game drive before flying out or continuing to another extension. Zanzibar beach time can be added for families who want a relaxed ending.
