Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your guide, and transfer to Arusha. The day stays relaxed so you can recover from travel and prepare for the safari rhythm ahead.
After breakfast, visit a scenic waterfall area with lush vegetation and mountain air. Return for lunch, then enjoy an easy Arusha city tour before another restful evening.
Travel to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives through groundwater forest, open lake edge, and acacia woodland. Look for baboons, elephants, giraffes, birdlife, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.
Continue to Lake Eyasi for a cultural day with the Hadzabe and local blacksmith communities. Learn about traditional skills, daily life, and the ancient hunter-gatherer heritage of northern Tanzania.
Drive through the Ngorongoro highlands and descend into the Serengeti. Enjoy game viewing as the plains open around you, then continue toward the central Serengeti area for the night.
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with your guide. The route is shaped around wildlife movement, seasonal conditions, and the best chance to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and migration herds when present.
Leave the Serengeti and continue toward Ngorongoro. Depending on timing, enjoy wildlife viewing en route and settle near the crater rim or Karatu for the evening.
After breakfast, connect onward to Zanzibar for the beach chapter of the journey. Settle into your beach hotel and enjoy an easier island pace after the safari circuit.
Enjoy a Safari Blue-style day on the water with dhow sailing, sandbanks, swimming, seafood lunch, and the relaxed coastal feeling that makes Zanzibar such a memorable safari extension.
Enjoy one last slow morning by the ocean before your transfer for onward travel. Extra Zanzibar nights can be added if you want a longer beach finish.
